Software Requirements

IBM i5/OS V5R3 or newer - DataGate 9.1 for System i has been tested and approved to work on IBM's i5/OS V5R3 and higher including V6R1.
DataGate Client - DataGate for System i 9.1 is compatible with DataGate Client versions 5.0, 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x

iSeries Data Area Access - DataGate for System i 9.1 supports iSeries Data Area access.

Issues Resolved since the last GA Release (9.1.34.0)

Case 12696: Use improved obj/lib class.
Case 1076: Implement GetDependents RPCs in dg400. case 12696. Fix broken reporting of base file format IDs, which was causing dgstudio's Copy Logical to fail when copying a join file from dg400 to atlas. Fix several old compiler warnings.
Case 12529: The iseries does not support file object locking, via the ALCOBJ command. Implement DataGate file object locking/unlocking by locking/unlocking the first member of the file.
