Please note that the current versions of the ASNA products for .NET have support for 64 bit systems; but ONLY those based on the X86-64 architecture.
The Itanium processor is very different from the traditional Intel-based x86 instruction set. The Itanium processor uses a proprietary instruction set called EPIC (Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing). Generating an executable to run against an EPIC processor requires a special EPIC-compatible compiler.
ASNA’s products aren’t currently compiled to support the Itanium. Given the narrow and specialized adoption of Itanium processors in the mid-level business space, ASNA doesn't currently have plans to support the Itanium processor.
